Health-related emergencies can happen anywhere, making it imperative for the community to be trained and ready to respond in CPR & first aid emergencies. Aims Community College offers a variety of American Heart Association accredited non-credit classes to students and community members. Sessions are available in-person and via blended learning on the Windsor, Greeley and Fort Lupton campuses (check location when registering).

If you have a group of employees that need to be CPR and/or first aid certified, we will bring our American Heart Association certified instructors, curriculum and equipment to your facility and train your employees onsite.
Not all classes are available at all campus locations. Be sure to check the catalog and verify what campus your class will be held on when you register.
For individuals with little or no medical training who need to be certified and anyone who wants to be prepared in an emergency. This course is also for our students in the Peace Officer Academy.
You will learn:
Upon successful completion of the course, class participants will receive a course completion card, valid for two years.
This course is for healthcare professionals and students in Fire or Emergency Medical Services (EMS) programs.

The Aims Community College Training Center is not accepting new alignments at this time. These classes are for Aims Training Center instructors who are needing to update their certification. Exceptions do apply; please contact us at 970-893-9835 for specifics prior to registering for a class.
Those registering must provide proof of a current BLS certificate.
Class participants will learn how to help others acquire the skills and knowledge they need to provide emergency care in a potentially life-threatening situation. This class will meet one of many requirements to become a certified BLS instructor (able to teach others how to provide CPR and BLS techniques).
Class participants must complete a monitoring session at Aims within 6 months of class.
